Expanding access to trauma-informed mental wellness support, maternal mental health care, and healing-centered community programming for Black women, women of color, families, and underserved communities.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Across Cambridge, many women, mothers, and underserved communities continue to face rising stress, trauma exposure, burnout, and barriers to accessible mental health and healing-centered support.

Majestic Community Wellness exists to help address these gaps through trauma-informed programming, maternal mental health support, restorative care, community healing practices, and culturally responsive wellness programming.

Now, we are working to create a permanent healing-centered community space that will allow us to expand access, deepen partnerships, and build long-term community mental wellness infrastructure in Cambridge.

WHAT THIS SPACE WILL MAKE POSSIBLE

A permanent space would allow us to:

  • Give Black women and women of color a permanent place to gather — a safe and restorative space for yoga, healing circles, workshops, trainings, and community connection

  • Expand from 100+ to 500+ hours of accessible healing-centered mental wellness and community programming in Year 1

  • Deepen partnerships with the City of Cambridge Center for Families, MBK Cambridge, the YWCA, Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, and the Cambridge Community Center

  • Build a stable, sustainable home for MCW’s growing workforce development and yoga teacher training programs

  • Say yes — consistently and reliably — to women, mothers, and families seeking healing-centered support and community care
